Patients Who Get Breast Augmentation Will Not Develop Autoimmune Diseases

There Is No Reason for Patients to Get New Implants Every Decade 

Some people assume that they will need to take out their implants every ten years in order to get new ones. It's true that patients will probably need newer breast implants at some point. However, patients who have functioning implants may not need to get them replaced at all, even if the implants are relatively old. It's also possible that the implants will need to get replaced after only a few years if something has happened to them.

It's important for patients to get their breast implants examined regularly in order to confirm that there aren't any problems, but the implants could last longer than patients might assume. Many of the side effects associated with breast augmentation are made up, especially when it comes to breastfeeding. 

Nursing Will Still Be Safe for Patients Who Have Had Breast Augmentation 

Patients can absolutely nurse their infants even if they have breast implants. Their babies will be safe, and they should be able to nurse effectively. Patients who have lost some of the sensation in their nipples as a result of the breast augmentation might have a few issues with nursing. However, not all people will need to have sensitive nipples in order to nurse in the first place. Most people aren't going to have to make major sacrifices in order to get breast implants.
